NYCTA: Coney Island Yard Complex Long Term Flood Mitigation

Removal and replacement of approximately 170 sections of Type VI yard track including contact rail to facilitate site-wide drainage improvements during continuous rolling outages. Installation of two (2) sections of Type II modified track and two (2) sections of Type VIII modified track for floodwall installation. Work includes flash butt and thermite welding of running rails during weekend outages. Furnish and install four (4) new solar powered rai lubricators on mainline track adjacent to yard.
